"Everything was good only few things which one of them being the pool and hot tub being outdoors we werent able to enjoy them as we should've with our weekend being rainy. Another thing i noticed was the room not being insulated or sound proof enough and we could hear everything from the room next door other than that everything else was good and clean..."
"This is an average motel close to Foxwood's with a fair price. We made last minute plans over Memorial Day Weekend so everywhere was pretty much sold out. The Hilltop Inn and Suites meet our needs for a place to stay over for one evening. It was very clean as other reviewers have reported. And we saved money."
"We didn’t want to pay crazy casino rates, so I booked the HGI. We were welcomed into a big, bright beautiful lobby. Staff were nice at both arrival and departure. Our room was so spacious and comfortable. It was also very quiet for a Friday. The casinos were super close, so we actually did both! Our only regret is that we had such a short stay. We would’ve loved the fire pit and bar area. There is a small pool and exercise room too. I will 100% book HGI again…and again!"
"Much older property than we expected. Staff were very pleasant but the rooms dark and grim. We couldn’t get the shower to work..
Way overpriced at $300+!
Breakfast adequate."
"This Great Wolf resort at Mansantucket, CT looks new and it was newly built comparing to others at Massachusetts and Pennsylvania. Though its nightly stay price (including waterpark usage) is quite high close to $350 including tax and fees. Also at this high price, it should already include free parking, small adventures inside the waterpark like roping, mini bowlings and mini golfings, but the charge for parking per day is $25 plus tax as well as the mini adventures were charged separately. Also the Dunkin Donuts inside the waterpark was run without the benefits of the DD chain itself, for example cannot use mobile apps, thus cannot earn points nor use points to claim small eatings. The waterpark restaurant was rated with a low score as well with hardly any customers visiting.
In any case, the resort itself is clean and staff cleaning service was okay. Better strategy is to live in other good hotels outside which provides free breakfast and free parking, and then just buy the waterpark ticket for one day or two day without paying dearly for the resort itself."
