"L'hôtel est situé à environ 10 mn de la Cité de Carcassonne et on l'aperçoit des fenêtres de l'hôtel. Nous avons très bien dormi car c'est calme. Les propriétaires de l'hôtel sont très agréables les chambres sont propres et spacieuses. La piscine est très jolie. Je recommande vivement cet endroit."

"You are asking about the staff? There was nobody there when we arrived. I could not find my reservation number because of poor phone connection! It took us 15 minutes to check in and other guests were struggling too! Not a good system and Expedia should let us know that there nobody at the Hotel when you arrive, that we needed our reservation number, not just our names and to be ready for a machine."

"Un excellent moment passé au sein de cette magnifique chambre d'hôte. Nathalie et son mari sont au petit soin, à la recherche du détail qui compte. La maison est grande et spacieuse, la chambre magnifique avec un lit très confortable. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la quiétude du lieu... Le soir nous avons eu le plaisir de nous joindre à la table d'hôte concoctée maison avec une grande majorité de produits bio... Vraiment je ne peux que conseiller le Grenier Occitan pour une pause serène...

"It wasn’t a 4 star hotel experience. It can be seen like it from the way is advertised and looks on pic. The room was small, no proper mugs for coffee in the room just paper one ( no milk sachets provided either which with the amount of English tourists visiting ( drinking tea with milk ) is kind a strange). Cleaning issue in the bathroom especially around the edges of the shower. Room was not cleaned one day at all. Second day cleaned only partially ( bed was made but bin not emptied and dirty...

"Staff were fantastic and friendly, always had time to answer questions or give tips about places to visit. Room was to a nice standard however the mattress was extremely worn on one side of the bed. Nice Continental breakfast every morning helped set the day up"

"This hotel is in an excellent area for visiting Carcassonne. Breakfast is plentiful and sets you up for the day. The staff are friendly and helpful. Air conditioned room is essential for the hot temperatures. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone."

"The room was very clean. The staff was very friendly. The pool and Jacuzzi are unheated as Americans. We did not realize that Jacuzzis in France were unheated. We were put off by this until we discovered that this is pretty much a universal thing in France that Jacuzzis are unheated. They have a restaurant which we had an appetizer sampler and a few drinks and those were good. The bed was extremely comfortable. The plumbing was a little bit weird, and that we were on the ground floor, and...

"What was unique was when we sat down to dinner, there were two other guests and the owners sat around the same table. More like a dinner party than a hotel restaurant scenario."

"Had a great stay at the property, which is in a nice small village outside of Carcassonne. The breakfast was very nice, with various breads and jams fruits and such. The bathroom was quite large and the room had ample pace and such for clothes. There is a restaurant about 50m away that is very good. Probably the best part is that the proprietrix is wonderful."
