"This is still my favorite hotel on Coronado Island, and I will definitely stay here again because of the beautiful location and relaxing atmosphere. However, for the high price, the hotel feels outdated. Some rooms have a musty smell, the lighting is dim, the bathrooms and refrigerator are old, the water pressure is low, and the lunch quality could be better. The extra charges are also disappointing. "Resort taxes are absurd. This is not a resort, it’s a hotel with a pool. The breakfast is minimal. The eating area is too small when the hotel is full. The bathroom hasn’t been updated in years. The mattress was sagging on the edge. On the plus side Coronado is amazing and the location of the hotel is excellent. The desk staff and the housekeeping staff were very nice."

"The parking can be a little tough but the staff, grounds and room more than make up for it. When you do find parking it is an easy walk to the zoo that is the Del Coronado (a lot of fun and historic but extremely expensive), and to many restaurants. They don’t have a pool but arrangements can be made. They serve a complimentary breakfast with mimosas if you’d like and an afternoon wine and cheese treat. All in all we will be back!"

"We stayed at the Coronado Inn for Comic-Con, and while we really only used the room to sleep and shower, the experience still fell far short of basic expectations. "Our room was clean and spacious, the staff was friendly and helpful, we had no issues at all and even enjoyed the restaurant the next day."

"We had a nice view of the ocean from our balcony. The staff who cleaned were wonderful most staff were very kind and greeted us in yhe halls. The issue we had was the air-conditioning was not working and nothing was done. The room was so humid I could not get my hair or makeup right for the wedding we were there to attend. A staff at the front desk said to open the sliding glass door to let the night cool breeze in the problem is there is no screens and bugs can get in the room and the balcony...

"Airport shuttle should be time managed exactly every 20 min or so for the people who rely in it. It should be posted in the lobby or should be given the info while checking in."
