Room was pretty clean. Couple spider webs, grasshopper, horse fly, gnats and a mouse. Super convenient location to tours, hiking and food! Night sky is amazing sunrise and sunsets perfect! I would stay here again!
Loved staying IN the park. Paid for the deluxe view and we were not disappointed. Wish there were more options for dinner (the lounge menu was limited). Staff was very friendly and helpful. I would stay there again.

Great view, room could have been cleaner. Beds were decent, everything worked as it should. Great location in the park.
This property is the only one in the area. It is great for the location and sight seeing the Indian Dwellings and night sky. No microwave and no TV. The space is small, but if you're out you don't need a lot of space. The National Park does need to trim the trees near the rooms for better views. The two restaurants are expensive.
Far View Lodge is a very relaxing, comfy & quiet property in Mesa Verde National Park. View from room was great. Room itself is very cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed exploring the park at night and star gazing from the Cafe terrace. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing stay I would highly recommend

Disliked: Cleanliness
The location was amazing but the room, towels, bed linens were dirty. The restaurant on site was also great and staff friendly.
Room was as advertised. Clean. Bathroom was clean but small and toilet was very low to the ground. Walls are thin. Restaurant was good and convenient for being so far away from town. Staff was polite.
Great location! Very friendly and helpful staff at registration and in the restaurant. We enjoyed playing games in the game room, and sitting on the balcony to enjoy the view.
The room was in poor condition: sink handles fell off, toilet flushing was questionable, free WiFi was spotty at best, coffee pot leaked, no TV.
Breakfast is not free. There is a dining room which offers 3 expensive meals. There is a lounge, with more reasonable prices but the food was just ok.
The view is beautiful though. The room did have a small balcony which was nice.
Really good view inside the national park. Taking a walk in the evening , watching stars at the balcony.
I would stay again when visiting Mesa Verde N.P. next time.
note: no microwave in room. sound insulation was a bit weak but not a major issue for me because I usually bring ear plugs during a trip.

Great view and fairly comfortable beds, very friendly staff. However, food choices are limited due to location— you’re stuck with either hamburgers in the lounge (which were okay, not great), to the expensive Metate Room Restaurant— where they serve wilted salads and lukewarm hot dishes and take forever to serve it. Staff are friendly but seem powerless. The Lodging facilities could definitely do with updating, especially the plumbing! This place used to be so special— but I doubt I will go there again.
