"awesome peaceful stay"

" ⸻ Booked this hotel based on its 4-star rating and appealing photos, but unfortunately, the reality didn’t match expectations. Upon arrival, it felt more like a 2-star—maybe a 3-star at best. The property is very dated and lacks basic amenities. Housekeeping provides only two very small bars of soap (about the size of a quarter), which is clearly insufficient for a family of four staying five nights—you constantly have to ask for more. There was no room service available during our stay, as we were told via text that they were fully booked. Hot water was inconsistent, and when we brought it up, we were told it happens when too many guests are showering at the same time. The pool was frequently closed for maintenance, which was disappointing. Breakfast service was slow, and at one point they even ran out of plates. To top it off, the hotel bar closes at 9 PM, which is quite early for a property advertised at this level. There are many other issues I could mention, but overall, this stay was very disappointing. I would not recommend staying here—save your money."

"The room did its job we slept and showered. You can tell it’s an older hotel, holes in the doors broken toilet cover lamps and blow dryer barely hanging on to the wall. The pictures posted online are really nice but in person it’s different. The front office gentleman was very nice and welcoming on the plus side. "

"The receptionist was pretty rude and not ready to take my credit card because my full name was not printed in the credit card. She was not ready to take my husband's card since the room was booked under my name.We had come at 11.00pm with kids and to deal with the rude receptionist and gruesome admission process. Finally when the admission process was over, she gave us a key to a room which had faulty room lock. We had to go the lobby again with luggages n kids (lobby is located outside the building that has rooms)and got a new room allotted. Took almost 1 hour to complete the gruesome process and get a proper room. The room was okay. The comliimentary breakfast was pathetic with very less options."

"My partner and I booked a 2 night stay at Extended Stay in Colorado Springs. I had booked this chain of hotel due to my previous positive experience at other locations. This location was completely different. We arrived an hour after the front desk closed, as we were traveling from out of state. Per directions, we used the wall phone to call the “on call” worker. The phone didn’t work. We called the hotel number, but no answer. Called the 1-800 number for Extended Stay, but they ended the call prematurely. Tried a few other phone numbers suggested to us by other residents, who had similar problems checking in. By the time we finally got in contact with the “on call” worker, we had been waiting for 40 minutes. After finally checking in, we were assigned a room that had not been cleaned. No sheets, dirty bathroom, no clean towels, sticky stove top, chair with noticeable stains, etc. We were disgusted and ready to just find another place to stay atp. We went back down to the front desk, telling her of our troubles and asking for a refund so we might go somewhere else after this experience. She explained that we could try getting a refund, but that we would have to call several customer service numbers to ‘possibly’ receive a refund. After a 11 hour drive, and having now been at the property for an hour without a room, we decided to just stay in another room. Wish we had just left. The place was smelly, dirty, unaccommodating, had a broken elevator, odd residents, & rude staff. "

"The breakfast prep person is what makes the breakfast work. She keeps the food freshly turned around so there is plenty of everything and she makes sure that the coffee is hot and fresh. Also keeps the guest in line to put their dishes away. A hard job well done, especially for being able to get the stuff ready for 6am"

"This place is a horrible place. The ice machine didn’t work, hallways had dog feces all over and was also freezing for starters. Then the morning of checkout we tried to extend our stay to which we were told we couldn’t under false accusations as well as putting tow stickers on our windows. This place was highly recommended by a friend but will never be going back."
