The staff were extremely professional and friendly. The hotel is beautiful, full of character and has been lovingly renovated. Breakfast was delicious. The hotel is also very dog friendly which is great for us as we were visiting with our small jack russell.

Had the feeling of luxury, recently renovated, stunning room. The staff were forst class and helpful. We ate at the restraunt at the hotel and it was beautiful food. I suggest parking in a car park first and taking lugagge to hotel. You can park temperorally at the hotel whilst you check in but the streets are very narrow and Google maps was getting confused. It didnt effect our stay though.

This apartment was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Photos are true to the reality. Good wifi, beautiful terrace great shower and fabulous communication. Access and check in were super easy and safe. We loved our stay here and will be back! Thank you.

The hotel was exactly as it appeared in the advertising and didn't disappoint. Staff were friendly and helpful and our room was beautifully appointed and clean. The restaurant, whilst quite expensive, was open for long hours allowing lazy breakfasts and relaxed meals, especially when we arrived late at 10 o'clock at night.There was never a problem with availability of sunbeds at the pool as the hotel has a small number of rooms, and the pool was a lovely peaceful relaxing place to be with the...

It was a lovely stay. The dining options at this hotel were so much appreciated as everything else in El Rocio seemed to be always shut. A beautiful location close to all the birds on the lagoon.

Everything was super well. The room was super clean and good staff. Breakfast excellent. Relaxing place and beautiful. Ideal to get away. Pool was ideal. Restaurant a bit expensive for a buffet. Walking distance from hotel ideal good prices restaurant . Bar in hotel very good service and very nice staff.

Lovely old house conversion, everything worked sockets showers etc. very good service at breakfast we ate in the courtyard outside but the breakfast room inside was nice. Rooftop pool with bar and solarium was the best feature with 370 degrees rooftop views of cathedral and alcazar . Thoroughly recommend although expensive compared to other nearby hotels.

Cleanliness, friendly staff.

We absolutely loved our stay at Verdelago and would happily return. The resort is beautiful, the staff were wonderful throughout, and the restaurant team in particular were fantastic. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming and really made the stay feel special. Honestly, the only things missing for us were a spa and a heated pool. Add those and it would be pretty much perfect! We had such a lovely time and would definitely stay again.

Absolutely lovely place to stay. The staff are lovely. The room was right sized and clean. Every part of the common areas was also very clean. The breakfast was also very good with a wide range only options The only bit of a small bother was the location which is a bit away from the main attractions. But the hotel provides a pick up and drop option. Although you are best off if you have your own car

Whilst the location of the hotel is approximately a 10 mins walk from the centre of the old town it is easily found and the hotel and staff were very good. Upon our arrival we were assisted with luggage and arrangements with a sherry tour details at Gonzales Byass; they telephones to check next timings for the English tour. This is a 1star hotel, but this doesn’t do it justice. It is a superb, clean, welcoming hotel in the centre of Cadiz. I’ve visited Cadiz 5x and this is the perfect location- one minute walk from the cathedral, three to the amazing food market. Really friendly staff. The bed is super comfortable, the a/c is excellent and a great shower. I travelled all over Spain for 3 weeks and this was the bargain of the trip. Highly recommend.

Hidden gem . Reluctant to share as i want to keep quiet about such a hudden treasure. Peaceful wuiet location with stunning views across the river.

The welcome was very warm. Staff spoke both portuguese and English. The hotel is approx 400m from the Roman Bridge, just a stroll away on foot. Breakfast is good and is nicy presented on a wooden plank. Very modern rooms, one negative point is the lack of power sockets (only 2 in the room), especially near the bed. As we are always prepared, we brought a 4-gang, to be able to charge 2 mobile phones and 2 Tablets. There is a small pool on the roof ferrace, we didn't make use of it so we cannot...

Charming old hotel in the heart of town

Lovely breakfast, lots of choice. Friendly, helpful staff. We ate at both restaurants and the food was great. Bonus was two complimentary bottles of water in the room everyday. We stayed for seven nights and had a wonderful time.
