"Maple Manor was a nice little spot, great parking, and friendly staff. The room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable - unfortunately the walls are quite thin, so noise travels. Breakfast was good but could be more hearty, especially for a full breakfast. Overall a pleasant stay :)"

"It is important to note that this is a lodge not a hotel. There's no food service on site. Check in details were missing details about how to get into the room. We phoned the assistance number, the person was exceptionally helpful and then requested that £5 cash to be left at the desk to pay for parking. Expedia notes that this is included. Felt like bit of a scam."

"We were there less than 24 hours. They only gave us one towel to share. Shortly after we arrived, a hotel employee used his key card to come into our room without knocking or announcing himself. Lastly, I had to shower without hot water. Not the best time."

"Used the hotel as a base when visiting family in the local area. Nice location, very safe. All staff were professional and friendly. Rooms in both the annex and main hotel were spacious and clean, the main hotel perhaps feeling a little more modern. Great breakfast with both continental and hot fresh foods to order. Staff in the restaurant were exceptional! We were offered a fan in our room but it did little in the recent heatwave - totally not the hotel’s fault!! But perhaps consider...

"Really heavy air freshener smell in rooms and hallways (instant headache!), only 1 of each towel so we had to share after a shower, weird entry/drive way with awful speed bumps. Comfy bed, reasonably quiet until 4am when people start getting up and leaving...."

"Oh my Goodness where do I start! Jon, Nick, Laura and the lovely woman who cooked my breakfast were all so helpful and accommodating! Its such a beautiful Bed & Breakfast, with a quiet and relaxing back patio to enjoy with your free beverages, and a lounge area too. My room was so comfortable. "My husband and I stayed on a Saturday night in November as a birthday treat. We stayed in the loft suite. This room is clean, cosy beautifully decorated. The bathroom is amazing ! We absolutely loved the jetted bathtub. It really was a selling point for us. Breakfast was very nice. Lovely fresh eggs. We enjoyed having our own private dining toom too. Paul was very nice and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be coming back again. Thank you ."

"As another reviewer stated, it's a bit quirky in decor and furnishings. Needs heavier drapes or shades on windows and layout of the family "suite" unusual with access to the tiny loo room and shower through the smaller bedroom, which doesn't have a door. Lovely host, good coffee/tea selection."

"Didn’t care for the bar staff but the rest were very good, still don’t like tips being added to bills. Really liked the room. The size , the coloring and the less is more furniture and there being no raised threshold at the bathroom door. Of coarse , the location doesn’t get better for the airport! The scrambled eggs at breaky were not palatable to me and I hate to waste food. If only the Copthorne Tara with twenty times the numbers had as many coffee and toaster machines and overhead heat...
