Nuovo Etruria Resort

"This property was in a beautiful location just outside of the town of Montepulciano. The room was perfect for us and our 15yrs daughter, including air conditioning (thank goodness as we had a major heatwave 40+ degrees!). The pool was also beautiful and refreshing, with large umbrellas, and a great view of town! We chose to include breakfast which was also wonderful. The young man at the front desk offered excellent suggestions for dinner in town."

"This hotel is straight out of a movie. Not only is it on the most beautiful winery with the most insane views and delicious wine, but it is also incredibly modern inside while still maintaining the original wooden beams and essence of the villa! The staff is so helpful, the food is so good (like the chef is Michelin quality) and it truly was the most dreamy stay we’ve ever had. Thank you so much to Saviero and his staff! We only spent three nights here, but wish we could’ve done a week!"

"This hotel is centuries old and is in a beautiful Tuscan setting in a VERY small town. There are no restaurants or shops in this town. The hotel, while serving an excellent European breakfast, does not have a restaurant for lunch or dinner. If you don't have a car, you're stuck. The first night, we had to hire a cab to take us into Montefollonico. We went to a lovely restaurant (Gobbi 13) and we had a delicious meal, but the cab ride cost us 125 EU. The hotel staff was very sympathetic. On our second day, we saved our croissant sandwiches from breakfast to have for lunch and later in the afternoon, they offered to make us a charcuterie board and a bottle of wine for dinner. It was another 75 EU but it was very good and we actually had a perfect afternoon sitting on their back patio area and enjoying the view. In short, my advise is to be sure of what amenities there are at the hotel and in the town before you book."

"It’s a beautiful property, but be aware that it is secluded and that the restaurant menu is quite limited and after a couple of days, we were happy to go elsewhere. The waiting staff was attentive and nice, front desk not as much (maybe the la guard barrier?)"

"The hotel was beautiful maintained and a very convenient location. We stayed in a newly renovated room which was quite modern and clean with excellent spaces for clothes and toiletries which I appreciated! Our room didn’t have a view, it looked onto another building which I was a bit disappointed about. The breakfast was average, too many sweet dessert choices for my taste, but there were eggs and and a nice yogurt bar. The pool area looks nicer in the pictures than it does in person but the pool itself was nice and refreshing. They could have furnished the pool area nicer considering the area we were in! The staff were helpful and friendly, hotel was very convenient with lots of parking and it was very clean."
