"This was our first stay at the Comfort Inn & Suites. We reserved two rooms and checked in late. Our destination was Chattanooga, Tennessee, and this location was conveniently situated halfway on our drive from Norfolk, Virginia. The front desk staff who assisted us was very friendly and courteous. He was also very helpful when we needed assistance obtaining coffee from the lobby. I would rate this experience five stars if not for a small issue: I noticed a dried, sticky substance on the blanket. While it was quite small and not a stain, it was unappealing. Overall, we are very satisfied with our brief stay at this hotel."
"I was looking for a place to stop halfway between my home and Vero Beach and Boston mass and this fit the bell. I wasn’t sure and staying in a Travelodge hotel, I’m used to staying in 4/5 star accommodations. I was questioning my decision as I drove up a steep hill to reach the office which was separated from all the other buildings. There were three buildings? I believe I was in one of those on the second floor no elevator I hiked my dog myself and my suitcase upstairs I was just getting an easy feeling however once I entered the room, I was quite impressed. The room was spacious clean had an outdoor balcony had a beautiful brick wall and gave me the feeling that I was staying in a loft the breakfast? Nothing there I could eat honestly. Grits or biscuits and gravy. I’m not sure which it was, hard boiled eggs, cereal, etc. it just wasn’t anything that appealed to me. I believe making the outside a bit more updated, would bring in more customers."
"I didn't want to spend a lot of money, but I didn't want to deal with the wife complaining about a dirty or poorly maintained room, so I thought Comfort was worth the additional dollars. And yes, it was money well spent, after a day on the road it is comforting to come to a place that is clean, roomy and well maintaned. The pool was a nice add-on, and the breakfast was the highlight. I'll be staying at a Comfort again in the future for sure."
"Half of the property seems to be under renovation. Room was acceptable. Only complaint was the outdated AC unit that only seemed to work sometime leading to a very uncomfortable sleep. The outdoor area is very pleasant. Pool is outdoor and cold. Breakfast had a great selection."
