"Beautiful property and a good place to refresh after a long flight. Quiet, owners were nice, and scones waiting for us upon arrival. 'True Ireland' location."

The oldest hotel. was really well kept but a little dated in the main hotel bedrooms. very clean and excellent staff. good choice of breakfast and a decent check out time of 11.30.

Rooms were clean and Very spacious. Staff friendly and could not do enough for you. Fantastic venue for a wedding and was the best wedding food we have ever had. Plenty of parking.

Hotel was in a perfect location. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was worth the money with plenty of choice. Rooms were very clean and bed was very comfortable.
The only negative was the pillows were not so comfortable and there was no air conditioning in the room although there was a desk fan provided. Just glad we didn't stay in the heat wave.
If you are visiting Kilkenny I would recommend this hotel.

check in was excellent, very friendly staff offered me a mince pie and some hot chocolate and a room upgrade as i hadbeen at the hotel 30 years previously. Hotel has changed, been upgraded and my room was on a par with any of the 5 star hotels i have stayed at in Asia. Lovely ambiance in the hotel, bed was v v comfy. excellent coffee at breakfast. Will return in summer.

Great value hotel on the ring road round Kilkenny making it easy to find & although a little bit outside town centre & attractions access to the town centre very easy as long as you have a car. Large car park & a very good breakfast

Glandarragh Inn was a great introduction to Ireland as it's where I spent my first night
I would maybe recommend a bike shed to attract more motorcyclists as the car park has plenty of space
the wood fired pizza oven was very attractive and I ended up having a diavolo pizza alongside a guinness in the evening
Staff were friendly and helpful
it's a shame that early morning breakfast options were not available for those travelling long distances the next day but I understand that can often be the...

Stayed for a family’s anniversary, such a lovely place to stay, had fresh scones and cakes with butter and milk for us on arrival and all the things we needed for a cup of tea or coffee. Well equipped with toiletries and lovely and warm.
