"Hotel Steenhuyse was a very nice place for me to stay on my cycling trip to Flanders. Bart was a great host. He even sat and had a nice chat with me at breakfast. My room was very large, clean, and well-decorated. Breakfast was a buffet with a variety of meats, breads, pastries, and cereals. As a cycling fan from the U.S., I couldn't recommend a hotel more than this one. It is a few steps away from the Tour of Flanders museum, and a short ride from the famous climbs of the Ronde. No USB ports, no kettle, warm fridge, safe that didn't open, bedside wall light front plate fell off, no instructions on how to operate anything, no information about breakfast/dinner menus, bed sheets do not fit the bed. Room was clean, bathroom was very nice, hairdryer included. Staff pleasant and mostly helpful. Restaurant did not make a good impression at dinner. Slow service, wrong order after long wait followed by another long wait for the correct...

"A great home base for a cycling trip. The rooms were very clean and modern and all the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. There was a convenient and secure bike storage room in the garage with local bike services nearby. The many routes as detailed by the Centrum RVV all originate at the doorstep of the hotel. It was a very warm week in Belgium, so it was wonderful to relax with a drink on their backyard patio where there was both ample shade and a nice breeze. Would definitely...

"Mooie kamer. We verbleven in kamer 21. In de tuin. Top kamer mooi ingericht mooie badkamer echt een vakantie gevoel vriendelijk personeel. Erg goed ontbijt buffet goede kwaliteit en ruim assortiment . Als we op familie bezoek gaan gaan we weer naar dit hotel. We hebben al weer geboekt voor september"

"Tout était parfait, chambre très grande et agréable. Petit déjeuner très diversifié et de qualité. Service de location de vélos pratique pour se rendre dans le centre ville de Gand en 20 mn avec des pistes cyclables le long de cours d'eau : très agréable. Le seul problème : toutes les bornes de recharge électrique étaient en panne !"

"Beautiful hotel in a historical building in the centre of Gent. Walking distance to all the main sights. We stayed in a junior suite which is spacious and comfortable with exposed beams on the top floor. Unfortunately no view because the windows look out on the roofs on the buildings on the opposite side of the street."
