"Beautiful modern rooms. Lovely reception and housekeeping staff. Located near a nice quiet beach resort which is only a 3 minute walk. The hotel is located towards the bottom of a hill so it may not be suitable for those who are less mobile or elderly. Nice places to eat out - especially for fresh fish and meat dishes. Would definitely recommend. "

"We loved our stay at Placid Village. The host was very helpful and friendly. They delivered a huge breakfast of a fruit tray, pancakes, a variety of breads, milk, juice, coffee. There were several nice restaurants nearby 5 minutes driving. There are several beaches and the seven hanging valley trailhead within 5minutes driving. The area is very quiet and dark at night. The only problem I had was that gps sent me to a somewhat isolated residential area using the address listed. I reentered...

"Room was very nice! Better than anticipated. Parking on the street was very easy. There’s a guy on the street trying to help you park. I believe he’s just a guy trying to make money and not part of any hotel. He was friendly to walk past. Room was large and clean. Great view of the ocean and able to hear it at night. Quiet safe area to walk around solo female at night. Only cons was no hair conditioner and the hair dryer pretty old. Those are easy to get over :) had pastel de nata from "Vânia" -...

Das À-La-carte-Essen war von sehr guter Qualität, der Service sehr freundlich, aber unserem Wunsch, dass die Kleine alles ohne Verzögerung bekommt, konnte leider zu selten gefolgt werden"
