The room was clean the heater was perfect for the cold weather outside. Bed and sheets were clean no odor it smelled fresh and clean. Amenities were great no problems at all. Staff was nice and very friendly when we came to play pool and ping pong. Overall our whole week stay at Glenwood Inn was fantastic!

This is a unique place to stay. First off it's located behind an abandoned conference center so it's a bit confusing when you first arrive. It's the motel behind the large building. Hotel was clean and neat. I had no issues. It's reasonably priced and it was safe and convenient.

The place is clean and neat its property manager runs around all day on the property. It's a up ans coming along place. It has alot of history. When you first come in this place you will see the old building and than you will see the back new side

Renovated staff quarters on decrepit resort site. Clean. Okay place if you just need to spend the night. Walls are VERY thin. Free wifi. Heating unit works fast. Those concerned about security may not feel comfortable here: They give key on old key chain that lists room number. Lock is push-button type plus chain on inside. Minimal staffing, though they give a number to call. (Will need to use your own phone, as one not provided in room.) No coffee in am. Convenient to local amenities.

The location is a little older, so it does have that ‘old building’ charm. The king room was spacious, clean, the area is nice and quiet, and the surrounding nature is quite lovely. The proprietor is very friendly and accommodating. The price was very affordable! Definitely worth checking out this spot if you’re driving through the area.

Very Basic Accomodations

Chose this location for a last miniute solo trip as I had stayed here before. This property is older and is still under renovation. If all you need is a bed and shower after a long hike, this will do. Bring toiletries. There are no dining/pool facilities onsite, but dining is close. Close to hiking trails. Quiet.

Upon arrival, this is a very interesting conference center. They definitely should disclose that their rooms do not look like the picture and that half of the property is pretty much abandoned, which I found fascinating but other people may not. I definitely wanna know the story as to why the other half is abandoned. The functioning part wasn’t terrible. The rooms are definitely very outdated. The woman at check-in was extremely sweet. There is no pool. It’s on the abandoned part.

The hotel is in a great location, hiking biking and paddling are all nearby. The local restaurants are great, like the Sycamore Grill and Village Bakery for breakfast and lunch. The hotel is opening the pool in a few weeks, it is currently being renovated. Should open by early June, it is a outdoor pool with big deck and a hot tub. Tennis courts are nice too, Will come again for a 3 day weekend for more hiking, paddling and biking.
