We received a lovely welcome and the staff really wanted to do whatever they could to make our stay comfortable. The hotel is located amongst lovely countryside.

I was the only person staying at this hotel which was a bit disconcerting as it really is in thr middle of nowhere - about 1.3 km off the camino. But it is excellent. The staff could not have been nicer, and more accommodating. Even though i was the only person staying, they still put out the full dinner and breakfast buffet. I was treated like a king! If you want somewhere truly rural, a bit off the camino (i walked back to it the next day in 25 mins), this is an interesting, unique, peaceful...

We had an enjoyable stay, staff were very friendly, and food was very good, but the hotel’s location was very remote, and the taxi driver got lost twice en route.

The hotel room was very comfortable, staff helpful and friendly. Very modern

Very clean , good atmosphere in restaurant and bar with lots of Spanish sitting on outside tables . Didn’t eat here so couldn’t comment on food . Room very clean with a good shower and everything you need . Comfortable bed . View not great ( a wall ) but no problem . Ideally located on Camino and a great place to lay your head and recharge . I would recommend.

Beautiful hotel right as you enter Portimarin on the Camino . We were made very welcome by Sylvia . Our room was spotless ( as was the hotel ) , comfortable bed and lovely room - quiet enough to get a great nights sleep. Breakfast was buffet style and just enough before we set off on our travels . Coffee excellent. I would definitely recommend here .

Lovely place, amazing host! Wish we could have stayed longer

This was a really lovely place to stay on my Camino. The staff were friendly and helpful. I was able to use the washing facilities in the albergue of the same name next door. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect, ready for the next morning’s walk.

Lovely can’t fault this place friendly staff and a really good breakfast, can’t comment on dinner as we were visiting friends in lugo town.'

What a lovely hotel. Modern, clean, great location and the staff are exceptional. From the moment you arrive to the point you leave they are friendly, helpful and always wanting to make your stay welcoming. Lots of advice around exploring the area and happy to help with any questions. Top marks for secure parking and ample EV chargers. A restful and hassle free stay. Just 10minutes walk into the old town and an excellent bakery and coffee shop just 5mins away towards town if you just want a...

Beautiful surroundings and opulent, spacious rooms, quirky facilities. The only thing that let this place down was the dinner. For 29 Euro per person, my cod was so salty it was inedible and my husband did not finish his undercooked burgers either. It's a shame because they have all the elements to make it a 5* experience.

A very hearty welcome by the proprietor and they even translated everything into English. Given a tour and they explained the local area and where to get breakfast which was in a different place. Breakfast was a good pilgrims breakfast which sets you up for the walk due the day. Very simple with freshly baked bread. With plenty to bulk up on including walnuts….
