"Parking was easy and secure. AC was ok. Had planned to cook every day but the first day we used the oven and it heated the room for hours. Thankfully we brought a fan with. It was convenient to the beach which was very nice we walked to the beach during the day and also at night. Good place to stay on a low budget."

"Definitely not a place we will be returning. When booking, we requested a room downstairs due to having a disability and we got a room upstairs receptionist stated there was no rooms available downstairs. We were not notified, and there was no sign when checking in that stated we had to ask for room service for the next day. When I asked housekeeping to clean my room, they said they couldn’t because I wasn’t on their list."

"1st night a/c not working told receptionist she came up unplugged then plugged back in said it should be good in 5 mins. Said someone else complained and she switched his room.Before she made it to the elevator the code came on again I call her she calls maintenance guy they both come he tells here the unit needs to be replaced. I tell her moved me she telling me they do not have another king i go i do not care just give me another room.finally after about 30 mins it works I wake up at 1230 am...

"On 07/31/2026 We were given a room at Baymont by Wyndham in Clute/Lake Jackson, TX that wasn’t ready or safe. The air conditioner was torn a part with wires exposed, the curtains were torn, toilet filthy and piles of folded sheets on the couch and the room smelled musty. We could see mold exposed from torn baseboards between the wall and the carpet. We walked right out and went to the front desk and asked for another room stating it was unsafe and filthy. We were told there were no rooms...
