"Our stay here was just what we needed! Perfect option for our little family (Grandma, 3yo, 5yo and Mum). Kids absolutely loved the playground at the foot of our backdoor (2 bdrm flat). Heaps of room to run around or you could just sit by the river and watch the water. The 2 bdrm flats are slightly older so don't go expecting 5 star quality. It was perfect for us with a great location, handy as we were travelling between family around the area. There's a simple shop on hand for necessities....

There was ample parking in the basement area. The walk to the township of Paihia was along the sea-shore and was very pleasant, and close to the ferry terminal where we caught the ferry to Russell."

"We had a great stay at this accommodation! The location is excellent, very central and within walking distance to everything. The owner was absolutely amazing, incredibly welcoming and helpful. They assisted us with a late check-in and gave us great tips and ideas for activities in the area. There were so many thoughtful touches, like complimentary milk for coffee and tea. The room was clean and cozy, and although we stayed for three nights, the bed was even made for us one day, such a nice...

"This is such a lovely retreat, all credit to manager Kelly and her family. She went out of her way to make us feel welcome and it was much appreciated. The refurbished rooms were nice, clean and warm and the private shower was awesome. We had an awesome time and were lucky to see two kiwi on the grass near the bush even though it was raining, and we heard lots more. It was really magical!"
