"This is the second time I stayed at this hotel. We like it because it is walking distance to town but not in town. We love the lobby area and spend a lot of time there after a full day of sightseeing. The spa is quiet and relaxing with a pool, hot tub and sauna to use after your massage. Everything in Iceland is expensive and we found the restaurant to be above our budget."

"Stayed here 4 nights in late May, quaint little hotel (still uses keys for room doors), very walkable to all of the tourist areas of downtown Reykjavik. Staff was very accommodating. We opted for the included breakfast which was great value given Reykjavik’s sometimes pricey restaurants.
