Budget priced hotel in an excellent location near to centre but quiet. Excellent breakfast, lovely sitting area and attentive staff. Would recommend

We stayed at the Poomaz Peace palace for 3 nights. The accommodation is within minutes of the main street and because of the close proximity you can hear the live music each night. However the music usually does stop by 23:00. The room was spacious and clean and offers a fridge, kettle, hair dryer, soap, towels and has a shared balcony where breakfast is served each morning. Property was brand new and very well maintained. The manager Melanie was awesome, available at all times and very friendly. Room was clean and comfortable.

We stayed just for a night as a stopover drive from arugam bay to Ahungalla. We had the family room which has two bedrooms, one with 2× double bed and the other 1x double bed. Had a fridge/freezer and a living room. No air conditioning but wasn't needed as the weather was already cold in nuwara Eliya. Breakfast included offered western (sausages, toasted bread and eggs)or srilankan food (dosa, sambal, eggs). Offered fruita and juice. Great location very high up on the mountain with a nice view...

Wow, what a place! Loved our room with patio and the views were just to die for. Great view of the Ella waterfall which you could hear from the property. The owners were lovely and very helpful. Lovely cup of tea on arrival and water whenever you need it. Breakfast was amazing and huge. Couldn't ask for a better place to stay in Ella as it was nice and peaceful and oh, did I mention those views!

Sunnyside bungalow was great. Fab service, comfortable bed and excellent location. Very short walk down the road into Ella. Sri Lankan breakfast was delicious!

We had an epic time here at this Luxury hotel. The location is perfect, away from the noise, pollution, crowd and tourists. The hotel staffs are extremely helpful and will assist all the way. Janitha was exceptionally genuinely helpful. The pillows are the best we ever had. I wish we could buy similar one. If you want to unwind and relax in a luxurious environment, then this is the hotel to stay. I would stay again if I ever come back to Sri Lanka/Ella.

Stayed here for one night after climbing Adam’s Peak and it was perfect for the rest and sleep that was needed. The property was clean, including the room which had a big, comfy bed and hot water. No ac needed as it got chilly in the evening, there was a warm duvet. Staff were extremely nice and friendly, making sure we were well attended do. We stopped here on the way to Ella from Kandy and glad we did!! This is a small place but you wouldn’t know it! The rooms are very spacious and the hosts were amazing, one even tended to my partners ankle after she sprained it! The food is also amazing, chef on site with a wide menu of things to eat!

Great hotel in a wonderful location. Rooms are large and spacious with a breathtaking view of Ella Rock from your balcony. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is delicious.

We have been in Sri Lanka for over a week now and this hotel has been the best one we’ve stayed at. It is a bit of a walk from the city but can always get a very cheap tuk tuk. Extremely clean and very good breakfast. 10/10

Superb accomodation if only for the view from the bed looking out onto the Ella valley. Then a surprisingly fullsome breakfast accompanied by a medley of fruits. The two brothers looking after the place were able to book tuk tuk drivers who did not fleece you like a number of the others in Ella town. Therefore spacious well appointed room with fan. as air conditioning would not normally be necessary in Ella. Also no mosquitoes rather some fruit flies from the surrounding lusious...

Just stayed for 01 night.We had a duplex room.Clean and cozy.Staff was polite and cleanilesss was good.English breakfast served in the morning. Only thing for improvement is that they should take payment online .Also the card swiping machine was out of order.Rest was nice
