"Worse $270/night hotel in USA. Cold showers, dirty carpets, pitiful breakfast. If you are going to double your prices during summers, improve your services. At best, $70/night hotel and only if you are tired of sleeping in your car."

"This is a $75 motel, upgraded to $200+ for the weekend. Window style air conditioner is so noisy it was very difficult to sleep, Shower curtain rod was bent down so the curtain would not stay close to the wall permitting the water to flood the floor. The door latch was difficult to open and close, and at one point we could not open it from the inside until we figured out that it needed to be pushed in first. This could be disastrous if an emergency exit was required. We stayed two nights. ...

"Our week in Park Rapids frequently involved unexpected changes involving our stay at the Heartland Inn and through it all the front desk staff was outstanding in helping work with our changing needs. We were very thankful for their friendly, professional service. Next time we are in Park Rapids we will look no further than The Heartland Inn."
