"What an absolutely amazing place. We have fallen in love with the hotel and the Island and didn’t want to leave. However we did have a mess up at check in which I think the hotel could have handled differently. We checked in ( after the stated check in time ) and were given our room but when we got to the room it was already occupied. We were told by reception to take a seat and they would look for another room. The hotel was obviously not full but we were kept waiting for about 2 hours....

"Fantastic small and cozy hotel in a secluded setting! Excellent, dedicated and caring staff, very helpful and kind. Good and fresh food in the wonderful restaurant, portions on the smaller side however. Very good breakfast. We took a taxi transfer and private boat directly from the airport to the hotel, all booked through the hotel, arriving there in just an hour!"

"This hotel was fantastic! We were very impressed by the staff and their helpfulness. They upgraded our room and it had a stunning view out over the water and plenty of space. The checkin was quick and easy. The food offered had many options for everyone and the wait staff was also very friendly. We enjoyed being able to walk down to the water and also chill by the pool. On the day we checked out, the hotel offered to hold our bags while we went on an excursion and they let us shower/get ready...

"This hotel is literally right next to the ferry dock, so it is very conveniently located. Classic old school style hotel with comfortable bed, a nice little veranda with chairs to look out at the sea and an outdoor patio bar on site make this a great choice. The swimming area is very nice as well. The National Park is a short walk from the hotel. My partner and I rented a scooter right across the street and used that to tour the rest of the island. Pomena/Hotel Odisej is the perfect base-point...

"The owners are very nice and helpful. The room was clean and cute, as it is on the pictures from the booking. Very nice location in Vela Luka, lots of restaurants near by. It has a fridge on the common area that everyone can use, this was very nice touch. There is a parking close by. Side note, better to have a small car, the streets are very narrow."
