Beautiful upgraded room with wrap around balcony. Staff was amazing, although they seemed to be short staffed much of the time. Kingsgate Hotel Dunedin
Room small, very dusty & lots of hair strands in the bathroom around the sink. Needs a thorough deep clean. Dirty windows. No room to move around. Not good value give it was over $200 per night

Distinction Dunedin Hotel
Given an unexpected family room with 2 bedrooms, a kitchenette with microwave plus washer & dryer. Very handy. Not so close to the main central shopping area but not too far to walk either. Paid Parking for car in the next building.
