"This is a perfect place to disconnect and recharge, does have wi-fi if you can't live without it.
The staff extremely cordial and attentive from the moment I stepped into the property, the restaurant staff was just as attentive prompt. The Hacienda has a rustic touch with a modern aproach, only five minutes outside of Izamal which makes it a perfect location. The Spa massage was phenomenal, will definitely stay here again when in the area."
Reef Yucatan Hotel and Convention Center All Inclusive
2/10 Terrible
"Let me start by saying we stayed here for a couple days because it was recommended by someone. After actually staying here, below are all the issues we had with and reasons why we will never stay here again:
1. Terrible food - we did all inclusive and never ate here after the first night. Very limited selection, potatoes were rubbery and unable to chew.
2. Staff - overall nice but not what would whoever in Mexico. Didn’t really ask about our stay when we checked out and have seen way nicer employees at other resorts.
3. Pool - freezing cold and consider it was very windy during this time when we were there.
4. Insects - below is a recap of all the insects we woke up to in our room:
- huge spider, not your typical spider
- found a roach in my room and in my luggage after checking out
- bee in bathroom
5. Property - very outdated. We did not have WiFi in our room and the tv never worked. The bathroom also had the bare minimum towels and water took about 5 minutes to heat up.

"What really made this hotel stand out was the incredible staff. From the moment we arrived, they were warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. Every interaction was friendly and helpful, and they clearly take pride in making guests feel comfortable and well cared for. Their hospitality truly made the stay special.
The room itself was spotless and very well equipped, showing the same level of care and attention. The hotel also has a small pool and convenient parking, which were nice touches.
One of our favorite spots was the rooftop terrace. It has comfortable patio furniture and is the perfect place to relax in the evening with a glass of wine and enjoy the warm breeze.
Overall, this hotel offers a clean, comfortable stay, but it’s the wonderful staff who really make it memorable. Their kindness and attentiveness are what set this place apart."
"Truly delightful stay. Comfortable and stylish accommodation, extraordinary terrain with historical buildings full of artistic and vintage artifacts. Secluded yet safe. with the most friendly and accommodating staff. Excellent food in the onsite restaurant. Great for walking around, where birds, iguanas and even monkeys can be spotted. Impressive seiba trees. Artisan pottery souvenirs can be purchased directly from the artist.

"We are staying in Mérida for the month and wanted a getaway at the beach for a few days for New Year’s. LobLob was perfect. Great beach huts in a stunningly beautiful location far from other residences. Quiet, good food, sea breezes, and that clean sea smell. Our host, Marcos, was attentive and kind. A lovely combination. "The property was not as it shows online. The resort was totally empty except for us. The security guard checked us in. Although they were empty, they put us on the fourth floor with no elevator. The staff that we did see over our stay were incredibly helpful and accommodating. The restaurant wasn’t open and the pools were not clean. Maybe it was off season, I don’t know. The staff is the only redeeming factor."
