"This hotel appears to have a rodent issue. I stayed in room 209 for two nights and could clearly hear multiple animals running around in the ceiling, especially at night. The sounds were unmistakable, including scurrying, gnawing, and squeaking. I noticed it on the first night but tried to ignore it. "I will say that once upon a time this would have been a lovely property. It is just ok now. Our bathroom was dirty. There was a dirty handprint on the wall of the bathroom that was fairly gross. You get hit by a $50 resort fee, which I dont understand. They offer you two free rum punches and I suppose that makes it a resort. Westerly Beach is beautiful and the setting is great. I can't say any other of the hotels looked much better but this place couod use some TLC."

"We had a horrible experience. The first room were given had a horrible wet mold smell and a filthy bathroom. We were placed in between about 5 rooms under construction, so there was a lot of noise until about 5:30 PM. Mold and rust all over the shower. When I tested the water, the spicket flew off of the wall and hurt my shin. When I went to the front desk, they apologized and gave me another room. No comps offered or anything. The next room was a bit better with less of a smell and cleaner...

"Very disappointing stay overall. The hotel looks completely different in person than it does in the pictures online. From the outside it seems acceptable, but inside the property felt extremely old, poorly maintained, and neglected. There were damaged walls, ceilings in bad condition, carpet coming loose in several areas creating a tripping hazard, and a strong unpleasant smell in the pool area that was very difficult to tolerate.
