"Friendly, helpful staff. Very comfortable bed. Opening windows and a ceiling fan is much my preferred air con so I was happy with that. As it's an old building in the Rocks area and on a slope the hotel has odd groups of steps in the corridors so may not suit some guests. The stairs down to the dining and bar areas are also quite steep. I have stayed there before and would stay again as it's very convenient for the Opera House, the Rocks, Circular Quay and rail services. "
