"Nice hotel on the beach and I think all rooms face out to the pool and beach. The pool and property are nice. Lots of loungers available. The beach is very clean in front of the property, but less so as you walk along the beach. The security keeps the beach sellers at bay which is appreciated. Lots of food options in very easy walking distance. I didn't try the buffet restaurant but the other one was respectable."

"Lovely experience staying at C Beyond! Eric was lovely and very hospitable to my Mum, my sister and I. The pool was lovely and the private beach was also great. Breakfast was very generous and delicious. Overall would definitely recommend!"

"Karpaha Sands is easily one of the best resorts we’ve ever stayed at. The personalisation here is unlike anything we’ve experienced elsewhere — from our incredible butler Namal (attentive, intuitive, always there when needed) to the cell phones provided to reach him at any time, to an anniversary cake, to arranging dinner at our room the last night. Manager Omberto and the entire team were genuinely warm & friendly throughout our stay. The food is phenomenal! Were talking 5* quality across every meal. Hoppers at breakfast, fresh jams, a dreamy tea selection, ceviches and calamari chapati tacos to die for, and a seafood feast that was beyond anything. The starlight cinema with sparkling wine, sweets and popcorn was pure magic. Luxury glamping rooms are stunning — beautiful design, incredibly comfortable bed, indoor tub with salts, outdoor shower, gorgeous lighting and a speaker for music. Days were spent bouncing between pool daybeds, eating and beach loungers with lovely afternoon snack surprises. The massages were so good I had to have a second one. The masseurs were so sweet & gave lovely massages. Beach walks were wonderful morning abs evening and the entire strip felt very private and quiet. The number of stray dogs was quite heartbreaking competing for food, sadly a big problem in Sri Lanka. A mass neutering program would go a long way. A hidden gem with world-class food, exceptional service, and touches we’ll never forget. We will 1000% be back."
Jungle Beach an Uga Experience - Trincomalee

"If you’re looking for a truly secluded escape, Jungle Beach delivers. Far from the more developed parts of or Uppavelli, it’s wonderfully private — just you, the jungle, and one of the most pristine beaches I’ve ever set foot on. The sand is very soft, the sunsets paint the sky in gorgeous paddle pop colours, and the early morning walks are magical and peaceful. Breakfasts were a highlight with the most wonderful fresh juice (try the wood apple & passion fruit!) and a full menu to order from. Evenings on the beach with fresh seafood were equally special, and the staff were genuinely warm throughout. They also helped us arrange a bike rental to explore the beach area in Uppuveli, which was a great way to see a bit more of the region. Wildlife encounters were unforgettable: langur monkeys swinging through the trees off our balcony of the garden room, Sri Lankan squirrels with the cutest pink noses coming right up to us, and even a crocodile spotted on the grounds. A few heads ups: it’s a very family-friendly hotel with lots of kids, so the pool fills up fast, however the beach loungers are the place to be. Midst wear flip flops died to the beach as the sand gets seriously hot in summer. Feedback: The beach bar plays the same playlist on repeat which would have been nice if it played more varied music. A perfect blend of beach and jungle — highly recommend!"

"Beautiful new hotel on the beach. Grounds are immaculately kept. Nice pool & bathing area under palm trees. Beach bar too. Food was nice and open all hours. Can walk via the beach to other restaurants easily. Would recommend the dolphin watching & snorkelling on pigeon island. You can go to Nilaveli for the day for a more quiet, cleaner beach."
