"This was a really special stay. The room was comfortable, clean and airy. We had lovely views of the mountain side. The staff were very welcoming and the meals were delicious. We had breakfast each day in the restaurant and there was plenty of choice of both hot and cold breakfasts. We had dinner on the first night and I had the kamb. "Rather than stay in Egilsstadir, stay a bit outside of it. Direct access to the lake and, not mentioned in their promos, their own small waterfall!! Breakfast and dinner were excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful."

We only stayed 1 night on our trip around the ring road but we would have been comfortable staying here much longer. "
