"Pro: The area surrounding the place was beautiful. Con: unit was not clean when we arrived. Beds had been made but sheets were dirty. Dishes that were in the cabinets were dirty. The stove top still had food on it and the oven had burned food in it. Plus, the A/C unit was not working. Also, the pool was being refurbished so it did not have water in it."

"nice small room. everything worked and the bed and pillows very comfortable. walking distance to everything. great price. it is an old hotel, so if you expect a new holiday inn modern room, you will be disappointed. if you understand it is aged and will have aged walls, door trims, outlets, etc, but are okay with that because the room is clean, the bed is comfortable, it is a block from downtown, and it is affordable, then you will enjoy it. I did and would use the hotel again without reservation. "

"The Gingershack Farms was an amazing place to stay at. The owners were kind, understanding,and welcoming they had a couple of options to do outside for kids and adults. Beautiful scenery. On the way in and out and at the cabin. Thank yall so much "
