Since we were staying for four nights, I decided to address the issue at checkout, hoping for a reasonable resolution. When I spoke with the manager, I was told that I should have mentioned it earlier and could have been refunded and left. That response was disappointing. Suggesting that I should have uprooted my family mid-stay due to a maintenance issue on the hotel’s end is not a reasonable solution.
Beyond the pool, there were several maintenance and quality concerns throughout the room. The bathroom flooring was coming up, and the bathroom door was delaminating and falling apart. The refrigerator did not have a proper freezer, though items would freeze if the temperature was set to maximum.
