"We stayed in the Inverness building. Everything was very nice and cozy. It has an old 1970's/1980's lodge feel. That's fine. I like nostalgia. Wonderful towels. Nice kitchenette. Lovely balcony. I liked the Murphy bed, though it is low, so if you have issues with standing from low seats, be aware. My knees are shot (currently waiting for replacements), and my back isn't great, either, but the difficulty for me was minimal. My husband found the bed too soft, so take that into account. I have no idea if that is standard in all lodges, so maybe check with the office if it could be an issue for you. My only issue is that there was a musty odor that kind of hit me in the face as soon as I entered the room. Again, other rooms and buildings may not have that issue. If you're sensitive to scents, check ahead. As for us, we acclimated and didn't smell it after we had been in the room for 30 minutes or so. Opening the balcony door helped, as well. But whenever we left and returned....ugh.
I say this just to help those who might have a harder time with softish mattresses or musty odors. But it really wasn't a big deal for us. It was a pleasant stay, and we will definitely return."
