"The place could use alittle update, but overall I liked my stay the pool bar was fun to sit out and have a drink and liked the activities the hotel offered like karaoke and shoptalk with the free ride into the shopping/downtown area! Taxi’s or a rental car is necessary at this location."

"The Ritz was a wonderful stay. We booked the club room which I highly recommend because it makes dining so easy + open bar all day for those who care for it. You are 15mins away from a 20min ferry to St John's to explore those beautiful beaches as well. The staff was super friendly & helpful, & the property was spotless. Very nice fitness center/ pool/ and 4 restaurants on site. Highly recommend and will definitely return!"

"Stairs, stairs and more stairs...50+ to get to the rooms with balconies...front desk was very nice and very helpful...room was OK...AC worked pretty well...bed was soft but comfy...no facial tissue in the room...room was pretty clean... especially for an older property...pool was small...and green ...and got greener every day we were there...free breakfast was good...the onsite restaurant was excellent...gr8 happy hour drinks... food was top notch and portions were big...the best thing about...

"Very simple rooms, showing their age. However, the views and ambiance were incredible. Staff is very friendly, and the on-site restaurant served an excellent dinner and breakfast. We'd definitely stay here again!"

"Amazing History | Beautiful Rooms | Delicious Food | Incredibly Personable Staff We absolutely loved this location and would highly recommend staying here—especially when no cruise ships are in port. Shopping and restaurants are just blocks away, along with the (in)famous 99 Steps and Blackbeard's right next door. The views from both the bar and our room were truly breathtaking. While the property still has restoration work ahead, the quality of what has already been completed is outstanding. If...

"The staff were sincere whether in an offer of help, interest in quality, correcting a situation. They were appropriately business like yet it always felt like I was visiting family. The staff also seem to enjoy their jobs and working with each other."

"The Island View was charming, the views were fantastic, and the staff were friendly and attentive! We had an earlier morning and they were very kind to make us a breakfast to go. Food was great! If I had to come up with any complaint it would be that the pool (shaded for a good portion of the day) was a bit chilly, but my husband didn’t mind that."
