"Before you book, understand a few things: - the hotel is "minimalist". You get a room with a bed, a bathroom, and that is it. -there is a social room on the 2nd floor that could use a serious clean. There is a coffee vending machine, a kettle, a poorly operating toaster- and nothing else. No washroom close by, no plates or utensils. - the location is good, but you will walk by several unhoused folks as you explore the neighbourhood. - Bed was good, shower was good. Wouldn't stay there again"

"The location of the Inn is perfect, it is across from the harbour and within walking distance of everything we needed. The family that operates the Inn were kind and helpful. Our room was comfortable and it had everything we needed. It was clean, maybe a bit dated, but it didn't take away from our comfort or stay. The breakfast was great, we were treated so well, and the food was delicious. We would stay again if in Charlottetown."

2/10 Terrible

"First of all, check-in info said 2 pm... no one is there on site to take care of this.. We sat outside for almost 30 mins, ringing bell occasionally. Finally called the phone # I had and after several tries got a real person...probably the manager.. who tried to be very accommodating, but at this point nothing was going to help. I was told a message had been sent to my 'phone' that morning spelling out access, etc... but the number I had given Expedia was my home phone #, not a cell phone, so not workable. The room was 3 floors up in the 'attic'.... total of 35 stair steps, which for 83 year olds with hip and knee problems was not an option I would choose. if I could have spoken to someone directly when booking. Even though the manager might have been told a handrail wasn't necessary to the 3rd floor because it was a very narrow staircase, it was also very steep and a handrail would have made things much easier. There was a 'smoke alert' laying on a shelf in the kitchenette area, with wiring showing on the wall. There was a 'fireplace' mounted on the wall... no visible switches or remote for same."

"The staff were very friendly and eager to help. The location was very good. Easy walk to shopping and restaurants. Waterfront also close enough to walk although we did drive as it was cold and raining during our stay. The room was very clean and spacious. Very comfortable. Appreciated that it had AC but there were windows we could keep open which brought in a nice breeze during the night. The breakfast was excellent! Continental breakfast with hard boiled eggs and yogurt included. But the real bonus was that you could order from a selection of 6 or so breakfast items, i.e., a breakfast sandwich, scrambled eggs, an omelette. I believe they had a waffle selection as well. This was really nice as it meant you had a hot breakfast cooked up just for you!. Lots of parking, easy to get into. Only drawback was that there is no elevator. We were on the third floor and had to lug our luggage up and down the stairs upon arrival and departure. I have knee issues so this wasn't the best for me. My husband had to do all the lugging in this department. But, basically, I would highly recommend a stay here. You get your monies worth for sure."
