Clean yet dated interior but room itself ok for the price. No hot water at all from shower or sink. I didnt expect much for the price but at least wanted a hot shower.

It was an older hotel with character.. Floors a little creaky and other residents very noisy the first night . Staff we very welcoming and helpful during our stay . We had a very basic room but comfortable enough good shower and extra pillow given upon request. Will stay again.

The hotel was ok for what we needed, 12 blokes on a golfing trip don't have sophisticated tastes. My biggest complaint was parking, on the first night we couldn't find anywhere to legally park within half a mile, but after about 7pm, we moved our cars right outside the hotel for free parking till 8.00 the next morning

Having work done at hotel so couldn't get a breakfast. Room was ok had to ask for someone to close windows .it was easy to reach were I was going so not to bad

Don’t let your initial vision put you off, the hotel looks very run down but is very clean and comfortable. We had a sea view which was nice however it also means you have the hotel front lighting shining through the curtains which isn’t ideal. We would stay again with more limited expectations.

lovely three day stay to attend family event,no food available at hotel but no worries pleanty of places to eat nearby, its a bit dated but so are we and at least its not all grey and white it felt comfortable i would stay again

Although there was scaffolding on the building, we had a lovely sea view room. Decor was old, but it was clean and staff were very friendly and very helpful. We had a lovely 2 days thank you

Lovely

A tired looking hotel but spotlessly clean and lots of painting going on. Breakfast was amazing with lots of choice and the staff were friendly and efficient. We had a lovely stay and wouldn’t hesitate in going back

Good, basic hotel for an overnight stop

Good, basic hotel. Excellent location on the cliffs close to the centre of Folkestone, but looking a bit run down internally. There is some on-street parking (paid) or a car park near by and on street parking is free overnight. There was building works going on when we stayed, with scaffolding over the building and blue protective film over the bedroom window which didn't do much for the view (over a car park).

Unfortunately we have experienced a cold water so then the day after hot water so we could not have a shower at all.

Excellent staff! Cheap you get what you pay for I wasn't expecting much for the price so was not supprised, rooms need a major facelift but can't fault for the price I paid lovely views of the coast!
