It's is a very nice clean facility, the only issue (if can even call it that) was that the water pressure was a bit weak in the bathroom but that was about it. "The Commodore Hotel was a neat place to stay. The location is in the heart of downtown, so you have the ability to walk everywhere you need, without really any issues. The restaurant below (Broder Strand) had a great menu and coffee shop, and the place overall was friendly and welcoming. One of the best things is that it was dog-friendly, and most of Astoria is dog-friendly too, which made the experience even better."

You have easy access to the river walk which is a very manageable walk (30ish mins) over to the downtown area. Service was excellent and kind. In general a great location for visiting coastal Oregon.
