"We enjoyed our stay. It was our anniversary trip. We stayed in the romantic getaway. I didn't receive the check in instructions, so I messaged the owner and got an immediate response. He was very helpful and was there upon arrival. He mentioned about a kitchen in our room but there wasnt. It was very quiet, you could hear everything. I dont think i would recommend for a younger crowd. As far as it being the "romantic getaway", there was no way we could get really intimate. The closed in porch wouldve been great for cuddling on the couch and watch the sunset, but the legs were put on backwards on the couch, and wouldnt have held us. We notified the owner so he was aware and said he would be there in 45 minutes to check it out and offered us a chair in the meantime from the common area. We looked foward to him looking into it but that time never came. So we couldnt enjoy that part like we wanted. We loved the bed and pillows and sheets so much, we ordered the same pillows and bedsheets. We made a snack in the oven but there were no hot pads. But everything was great. The rooms were clean and the view was great with an excavator outside the windows. Saw a few deer. There was a slight odor upon walking in. Almost like it used to be a nursing home and a strong mildew smell in the downstairs. I don't want to sound negative. Just trying to leave an honest review. Like I said, it was clean, great location, very quiet"
