"Everything was just perfect. Breakfast was very good, the social hour was very nice and we got to meet other guests. The room was spacious. Bathtub/shower wasn't so comfortable but we stayed just 1 night before the cruise so it wasn’t so bad."

The bathroom was large with a claw foot tub and a wraparound shower curtain. The room A/C was excellent. It was very comfortable all day and night. The ceiling fan was whisper quiet. The cottage included a kitchen area with a half-size refrigerator/freezer, counter top, cabinets, tableware, microwave, and a table....

"This establishment was by far one of the nicest places I have ever stayed... It felt more like renting a house than being at a hotel... Mostly because we were the only people there due to bad weather. The property is very remote, with a 15 to 30 minute drive to go to Walmart or dinner. (A lot of places close at 9:00 p.m., so get there early.) The property was very quiet in the morning, which allowed for spending time outside and enjoying nature... Especially from the enclosed deck. "Jeff and Polly were the best! We were greeted with fresh baked cookies. And then the second thing I noticed was the personalized welcome sign. It’s the small details that made this stay unique. The food was great as well. You can see that someone put some love into preparing those dishes. If you’re looking for a little getaway for two, I can tell you and my girlfriend and I recommend this place!"
