"The Oberoi Cecil is absolutely terrific. Both times we stayed we were given an upgrade...the last time to a full suite! All of the staff in the hotel are tremendous and the morning buffet is absolutely fantastic! Mall Road is easily walkable, and there are many interesting connecting roads lined by interesting shops. "The views from the property are incredible. The breakfast is great. The other meals are great. Service is great too. Only two things I did not like: ONE: There was a very low wifi signal in the room and I would not recommend the hotel to anyone who needs to work and as cell phone signals at the property are low too. TWO: The bathroom exhaust did not fundtion. So the smell remained in the bathroom for a LONG time."

"I loved the experience. The staff very helpful specially lakshay at front desk. He allowed us to do early check in because they had the room available. I liked the food we ordered. The location of the hotel is fantastic. It’s in main Shimla. Few steps away from Oberoi Cecil. We took the room with valley view and really enjoyed the stay. I love the architecture of the property. The way it’s built is cute and impressive. "

"The hotel staff is pathetic. After reaching to hotel, they informed us that hotel is completely full and there is no room. Even after having confirmation they didn’t keep our room. Moreover they denied any help and asked us to talk to Expedia. The worst property. It is very far and off route of main Shimla. Route is not safe and stay is difficult as it takes lot of time to reach hotel"
