"The location in the heart of the city near the river was excellent. The entrance is tucked away in an alley. We had a duplex room facing the back of the hotel that had a very comfortable bed plus a sitting room with kitchenette. It was incredibly quiet. Breakfast was very nice with views of the river and seating on an outdoor terrace."

The front desk is limited, as mentioned on the site, reception is only available until about 5:30pm, so if you plan on baggage storage you may be better off renting a storage locker. They give a small, very nice bottle of port wine and have them on display in the lobby, but you are unable to purchase as a souvenir. The rooms are very spacious and clean. If you want to use the fold out bed, let them know in advance because they lock it."

"Great location in Porto! Within walking distance to everything we wanted to see and do. We didn’t use the public transport at all. It’s a spacious apartment for 3 people. Check in and contact with staff was all through WhatsApp. Noisy at times due to being in the bustling center but it’s fine with earplugs. There is no elevator, so you have to bring your luggages up the narrow stairs. Overall we enjoyed our stay!"

"I did not follow the pre-registration instruction. That was on me. But I found the place. It would help if they posted a picture of the door. There were so many! But the place is just front row to the river. Once in, the place is just restored with great taste. I got the smallest unit, no views, first floor. But it is well appointed. The room windows face the busy alley, with restaurants and foot traffic but you can shutter them for sleeping. Good insulation, good AC. The wifi was iffy, but it...

"The location was the best as it is close to everything and within walking distance to anywhere in downtown Porto including the Bolhão Market. Check in was a breeze and our apartment actually had a view of Porto. We love our stay and everything was great except just a non working light bulb at the balcony. Other than that we like our stay."
