"The breakfast staff behaved as if the food was being given out for free. They kept staring at us the entire time, and when we politely said “good morning,” they completely ignored us and continued looking at us in an uncomfortable way. We were not sure if something was wrong or if they were upset, but this type of behavior and gestures in front of customers are very unprofessional and made us feel unwelcome.

"Stayed here for a softball tournament. Low budget motel that provides a place to stay. It is in need of renovations. Towels were threadbare. Shelf in bathroom broken. Bathroom door doesn't close properly. In room mini fridge and coffee maker are good perks. Parking is spacious and it is close to the ball diamonds. "

"Great stay. I have been at the Maple Leaf Motel several times over more than 20 years. I have always loved it, and I find it to be better than ever under the most recent management! I received courteous service, found updated equipment in rooms, which were extremely clean. I will be back, when my travels bring me to Goderich!"
