wonderful. good central location to see all 3 parks mentioned above which are fabulous. ended up two nights eating downstairs since it was the best lamb we had ever eaten, as well as being handy

Was just an overnight stay. Room was very clean and nice to have a full kitchen however did not use it. My only complaint is there was a coffee press & coffee but no cream or sugar. Should at least supply powdered. Had trouble with the TV but owner came right up and fixed. We ordered dinner from the restaurant to take out and she delivered. Awesome service!

They were closed for guest and had no explaination except the owner was on vacation. It is tourist season and we were very upset. We were lucky to get a room somewhere else. We called you but you did not help us. We would like you to something to make us happy or we will never us Expedia again and we will tell out friends not to as well.

Not best choice for families

Enjoyed the food at the property and well located. Would have considered staying there again if we hadn't been charged an extra $40+tax for two extra people. (We were a family of four (two adults and two kids). The ad even says sleeps up to four children.

Not recommended

Hasn't been updated since 1970's. Bath/shower needs replacing. Bed was comfortable and staff were friendly.

Excellent for the price

Just stayed one night and also ate at the attached restaurant. Excellent food. A very reasonable rate for the "hotel" which was actually an apartment (a bed room, a kitchen, a sitting area, a bathroom, private entrance).

Melting at the Apostoles

It was a nice apartment style space with a fabulous restaurant below. The only downfall was the air conditioning- it was on full blast but made barely a difference. It was soooooo incredibly hot. It would be great ski accommodations but I would not recommend it during a hot summer stay.

Lots of room with a great view

We got the 2 bedroom room and we were really impressed. It had a full kitchen with full size fridge and stove, full bathroom and a large living room with HDTV and lots of channels. It is basically an apartment that you are renting for the night. It also has a patio to sit on and enjoy the mountain view. This place is also cheaper than every hotel in the area. We would definitely stay here again.

Overpriced but good for short stay.

It was good for one night stay.Decoration is cheap.Overpriced in compare to other places.Short distance from some top restaurant and pub.walking distance to Golden pedestrian bridge.

Was great place for what we needed. In walking distance from some great pubs/restaurants. It would be a great place if you wanted to stay in a cook, as the kitchen had everything and Overwaitea foods was across the street. The only thing was it might have been a little over priced but overall we were happy with our stay.

Excellent choice for the money

The room was a one bedroom apartment over the resturaunt. It was clean and well located in the town of Golden.

Good value for what it offers for passing through.

Good price for the three of us but sofa bed not that much of up to standard, had to improvise a bit. Do not expect luxury. Do not know anything about competition in town. Do not rely on satnav to get you to the doorstep. Ask.

Good location, Clean apartment, quite hot not prvt

We stayed in the one bedroom apartment for two days. Overall, the stay was good and we liked it. It was quite spacious, comfortable and clean. The TV had quite a good number of channels to keep our child engaged. The sofa and bed were comfortable. The Wifi was good though it was not provided until we asked for it. The patio / balcony overlooking mountains with chairs was a nice add on. The kitchen was well equipped and had a good number of utensils though we had brought our own utensils not knowing what to expect. A few concerns we had was about privacy, considering that the balcony and the stairs are shared by both apartments. The front door has a glass but it was transparent enough to see what is going on, when lights are on. There is a door behind the TV and we weren't sure where it opens to and there was no way to lock it from our side. If you are someone who wants a hot coffee / tea the first thing in the morning, you would have to come with your supplies. The apartment provides a coffee brewer but no supplies. The coffeeshops nearyby don't open till 8 am. I was told that it is "only the hotel and internet is included in the rent and nothing else."

Old building but good sleep

The apartment style suite was very dated and in need of some repair. The floors squeaked loudly and you could hear the neighbours next door. The bed was nice and we did sleep soundly until the neighbours got up. The Apostoles Greek Restaurant downstairs has good food and fast service but it is also dated and could use updating.

Noisy and hot

This room is over a Greek restaurant, which we knew in advance and decided we would take a chance. Big mistake. It was hot, smelly and very noisy all night. And the price was high considering other places we stayed while in Canada. I would not recommend this room.

A fair stay in peak season

We stay there 1 night. The room is on the 2nd floor of a restaurant. It's located in the downtown Golden. It's a room with 1 queen bed, a sofa outside, a kitchen and bathroom. The 2nd morning when we left, nobody at the restaurant so we have to put the key there and left. Then received an email said they charged 25 dollars as extra person, this gave me a little surprise since when I booked the hotel, I thought it should be for 2 adults. So got a lesson from here.

Accomadation and Restaurant worthwhile!

I would stay again if travelling Golden again. We arrived early and they let us check in before the stated time which was MUCH appreciated. Having the kitchen was really useful and for being a somewhat dated unit it had real charm and was quite clean. It was also nice having 2 separate bedrooms. As for the restaurant, the meal was excellent and the staff here are genuinely interested in seeing you leave happy.

Quick stop - nice advantage

Because of the kitchen we were able to have a wonderful breakfast before leaving. The comfort of a two room apartment out weighed the fact that it was old.

Highly recommended in Downtown Golden

At the time, this sweet little apartment was our last choice of accommodation, but next time it'll be our FIRST choice. When we were searching for any room that would accommodate our family of 4 on a busy summer weekend, absolutely everything between Canmore & Golden was solidly booked. The Apostoles was all that was left... It turned out to be our win! The apartment is sparkling clean and roomy, and the air conditioning was plugged in and working when we arrived late Saturday evening. We dropped our bags & headed downstairs to enjoy a delicious baklava on the petunia-lined patio at 10pm. The beds are comfortable and the mattresses & linens seem new. The kitchen appeared well-equipped so I think this would be a great place to stay for a ski holiday. Clean laminate floors, nice bedding, screened windows that open, we've already recommended it to friends. Although we could hear trains in the distance, I found the Apostles, in its downtown location, to be quieter than the motels on Hwy 1. The only negatives we found are that the TV appears to be solely pay-per-view (though I could stand corrected about that), and we forgot to ask about a wifi pass code until after we were all tucked into bed, so we don't know if wifi's available or not). If we were staying longer, and especially in winter, more hooks for towels & jackets would definitely be helpful. About a block away & around the corner (on 11th), is Jita's Café, which served great lattes & home baking for breakfast. Yum.
