"We arrived late so we decided that we would stay 2 nights in Split but our experience at this hotel was below average so we decided to pack up and go to a different hotel for our second night. The hotel atmosphere and appearance was ok. The towels were old and had holes on them and the threading was ripped on the ends. The room was clean until you saw under the furniture and bed where it was full of dust. We had to make our own bed because the duvet and cover were folded on the bottom of the bed and no sheets. Also the king bed had two twin duvets instead of a larger duvet for the whole bed. The person that received us at reception was very nice, but unfortunately she criticize her own country quite a bit, and said that the Beautiful island of Hvar was not worth going to. She also said that the old town was the only part that was worth singing in split. I guess that is just opinion but she works in the tourism in the street. It’s surprised us that she criticized her own country that way."

"The hotel has beautiful ocean views and it’s a short walk to the Old Town and an even shorter walk to the Marjan hills. It conveniently has shops and restaurants literally around the corner. The front desk staff were very kind and professional."
