"All was good except the room size. We had a Deluxe Double room which is so small that there wasn't any reasonable space for our two carry-on suitcases - the only suitcases we had. We had to put one under the small desk and one in the corner of the bed and window. With the suitcase being closed, it partially blocked the already narrow path to the other side of the bed. It was quite an inconvenience. To be fair, the hotel's listing provides information of the room size. But it still surprised me...

"We wanted a home base instead of moving around from one hotel to another while we explored this part of Ireland. The Dingle Skellig hotel is in the perfect location if you do not want to be in the center of all the activity. It’s a short ten minute walk to town. "The breakfast was one of the best we had in Ireland. The staff was also extremely friendly. They were very knowledgeable about the area and very caring. My only suggestion would be to change the carpet out for a more sustainable floor such as vinyl wood flooring as some carpet had stains on it but that is hard to avoid on white carpet.
