"I highly recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to visit the ramblas area of Barcelona. It's clean, friendly, and very convenient to everything. My family and I walked absolutely everywhere from the hotel and when we couldn't walk the Hop on Hop off bus was very close. The buffet was excellent."

"Das Zimmer war sehr schön und auch wirklich sauber. Es war zwar hier und da einige Gebrauchsspuren und kaputte Fugen im Bad.
Die wände sind leider sehr dünn und man hört Nachbarn sehr gut. Auch ist wohl nicht weit ein Nachtclub der duechgehend bis 6 Uhr Morgens sehr basslastige musik spielt. Im stock E mit zimmer 10… ist es sehr gut zu hören, wenn man einen leichten schlaf hat würde ich kein Zimmer im EG mehr nehmen. Sonst mit allem zufrieden.

"Property is older because it’s the gothic quarter and you are there for that experience. Room was comfortable and property was close to most of the fun. "Very clean and fantastic location. My second time staying at this hotel and it was the same experience as my first 2 years ago. My only complaint is the beds are super firm, I woke up in pain. They did try to help by giving me a bad crib pad to help as they had no mattress toppers and it helped a little. But, I knew this from the first time ai stayed, but due to the price, cleanliness and location I chose to deal with it."

"The main draw to Hotel Continental is it's location on La Rambla, the historic center of Barcelona. Our room was nice with comfortable beds (yes, plural, we had two twins) and a modern bathroom. The hotel is old so the decor and hallways reflected that. Still, it was in good condition.
The buffet was fine for us at breakfast and then snacks during the day or evening.
The staff was great and super helpful with all our 'touristy' questions.
We'd stay there again."

"Para tener una ubicación frente a las ramblas uno esperaría cierto nivel. Sin embargo la habitación era lo más cercano a un camarote de submarino. El aire acondicionado nunca enfrió, la cama terrible, la almohada era un trapo desinflado y la televisión no sintonizó mas que un par de canales. No logré dormir más de dos horas por el calor y la incomodidad del colchón. "

"Five day stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was nice with lots of storage for clothes.
Only issue was having no control of the heat so the room was very hot and stuffy which made sleeping difficult. There was a constant flow of tourists at the “Kissing Wall” attraction right outside our window until 2am so leaving the window open was not an option.
Good location. "

"Ok here is the thing, I think it was a great stay for the price and location, my only complaint is the thin walls and noise of the street. We walked all over and there are tons of great places around every corner. However, it is loud. Like really, you hear the outside more than the inside. So people leaving the bar at 2 AM. I am not a party all night person so the nighttime noise was tough to get some good sleep with so please be aware."
