"Motel rooms have fireplace and a deck that has a view of the lake!! Only bad thing was no ice machine but it’s northern MN so no biggie. Kayaks, pedal boat and canoes were super fun and easy to enjoy! Staff is awesome and very accommodating! We really enjoyed our stay."

I live in the Minneapolis metro area, to be out of the big city and to a place where it was quiet and peaceful was just what I needed. Grand Rapids is a great place to go to get away from it all, truly God's country.

Excellent
The Mesabi tail is nearby and it offers wonderful bicycling opportunities. There is a good pizza place in town called Sammy's that I would recommend.
