"Manager. Was condescending, said he deals with issues every day from BUDGET booking sites. I had made a reservation to pay at hotel. When I called hotel about it was told there was no reservation. Upon further investigation I could not find reservation…so I booked again exact same reservation but paid online at that time. Upon arrival I was informed I had two reservations and that I would be billed because I had not cancelled the first reservation. Staff was understanding, gave me a number to reach Expedia regarding issue… next morning I got several calls to rectify my bill. After lecturing/informing me on how this happens all the time with BUDGET booking sites tells me how he will only charge me what he has to pay… I explain I have a ticket open (case number) about it with Expedia… then he tells me he won’t help me. Back n forth and I finally agree I won’t follow up with Expedia, and will be down to settle it. While there to settle that he is talking about attractions and I am focused on payment. I pay this time with a debit and he tells me it didn’t go through… so I place it again (meanwhile excessively talking to someone else) and I ask if he would just focus on the task at hand. I didn’t want to be charged twice. And next morning I find out I had been charged twice! While addressing this he says that he should have just charged me the full amount and that I’ve been taking my frustration out on him since I got there. Staff, cleanliness, food excellent…but this guy Nick!!"

"We were pleasantly surprised! The room was spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable. The room temperature was pleasant. The shower was clean, hot, and had good pressure. The front desk clerk was friendly and well informed. We would stay there again..."

"Everything was top notch. Loved the in room gas fireplace as well as the outdoor landscaping and lakeside gas fire pits. Very professional and accommodating staff. Fresh baked cookies every evening - nice touch. Of note, the beer and wine bar is not open despite what the webpage says. Hope to stay again!"

"i loved the stay and the water park but me and my kids only stayed for one night and we got there around 4 and the waterpark closes at 8. so we went to the water park as soon as we got there and we waited in line for 10-15 minutes each time because they only had 1 person running 3 water slides. and they shut down the family slide! so basically we only got to ride slides for two hours at most. AND our connection in the room was terrible. it kept glitching the entire time. we did enjoy the comfortable beds and how they had an arcade and desert place on the property. overall we had an amazing time i just think that they need to hire more people and they need to up their wifi game!"

"The hotel is nice, but starting to look a little dated. One of the elevators was out of order, so only one small elevator was in use during out 2 night stay. The rooms were updated, but still showed a bit of wear and tear. One of the outlets in the bathroom shorted out my hair dryer and then the outlet wouldn't work after that, even after pressing the reset button. The room doors didn't block out much noise, we could hear doors opening and shutting around us throughout the morning/evening hours quite clearly. The staff was very friendly though and overall we would stay again, given the fair pricing of the room and the proximity of being able to walk right downtown to the main drag of bars and shops."
