"The rooms were clean (yes, rooms.). We did have a minor incident with ants in one of the rooms. My fault, though. I left a coffee cup (sweetened coffee) on the night stand for several hours and when we returned there were ants from the floor up to the night stand. We switched rooms, kept all food and drinks in the mini fridge with no further issue. But they, even at 10 pm when we discovered this kindly moved our room. So the staff helpfulness fully outweighed the ants. The pool and hot tub were nice, and the breakfast was pretty decent. Their protein options are extremely slim, one morning bacon, one morning no protein option. Not good variety of breads, waffles, yogurts, etc.
Overall it was a nice place to stay, play, and sleep. "
"We absolutely LOVED this charming place in the "woods"!! We stayed in a Cabin suite. Staff was friendly, cabin was clean and comfy, AC & heat worked good. Fireplace was lovely. Coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening on the deck white listening to the birds and watch the duck/geese and all their babies go marching by was wonderful! Breakfast was great and good selection, cocktail hour and apps was a lovely treat as well as the nightly cookie & s'more offerings! We enjoyed sitting around the outdoor firepit in the evenings and the grounds were well kept! We will stay again!!"
"Everything is as always at motel 6. My only complaint is that the book in process is always a crapshoot rooms are given away willy-nilly if you don’t show up exactly on time or you show up too late or you even show up for only one day of your reservation, they give us the whole thing away. Travel insurance is too difficult to get money back from And the hotel never honors anything that’s done on hotels.com or Expedia so I am in a nightmare of trying to get money back after paying for a hotel twice and I’ve been stranded in town for three days because I gave everything I had to not lose a hotel room I already paid for. I booked three nights. It did not arrive until the second night. The entire reservation was canceled and I was not rebooked anywhere."
