"We had a nice short stay at the Holiday Inn Express. Our room had a view of the water, our room was clean and we enjoyed the pool and small pier. We even tried to fish at the pier but no luck. The view of the water in the back was peaceful."

"Upon check-in, there was no mention that the parking lot was being repaved. I only learned about it after raising concerns about the lack of available parking. Because I had to work late a couple of evenings, finding parking was especially difficult during the first two nights of stay.
I was also uncomfortable with the adjoining room door. Although it was locked, it did not feel secure and appeared as though it could potentially be opened.

"We booked Kent Island Resort for our anniversary because it looked beautiful online. We even paid extra for a balcony room because we pictured ourselves ending the night sitting outside with a glass of wine, enjoying the water.
The grounds? Beautiful. Seriously. Whoever takes care of the landscaping deserves a raise.

"Great little place for the price. The only thing I would mention is that we couldn’t walk into town from there. It was a little further down the road than we expected so we drove into town each time, but there was plenty of free parking so it was no issue! Rise up coffee drive thru is just beside the hotel so that was cool and the breakfast was yummy and well stocked. It was a good deal!"
