"The staff was very helpful and friendly and the grounds were well maintained. Prior to my arrival, I asked to have an extra set of sheets and pillow cases in my room. When I arrived the sheets and pillow cases were not there. At 6pm, the bell person called and asked to have them sent to my room. At 7pm, I called and reminded the staff that I was still waiting for the sheets. I had to go to the front desk at 8pm and the sheets didn't arrive until 8:30pm. Having an extra set of sheets and pillowcases is a major part of routine when in a hotel, so not having these things made it very difficult for me to get settled in. i also noticed that the room was very moist and had a weird smell. I had the same experience at the Royalton in St.Lucia, so I didn't report it to the front desk. The food was the most disappointing part of the stay. There were limited food options in the buffet. It would have been nice to have local Grenadian food options available. The grill station was never on, but food was placed near the grill cold and unappetizing. The specialty restaurants were difficult to get reservations but when I arrived the space was empty. More effort needs to be placed on improving the food quality, taste, and choices. The desserts were bland and stale."

Mount Cinnamon Beach & Wellness Resort

"Good value. Close to beach (2 minute pleasant walk). Pretty views from lobby and main restaurant. Very quiet. Restaurant serves lunch and drinks by the beach. Food is just ok with some excellent standouts like the roti and BBQ chicken. They had happy hour once night with complimentary drinks which were excellent. Another night there was a bonfire BBQ on the beach which was underwhelming- the singer was not great, would have been better to have a DJ or a more lively band. The staff are very warm and nice. They have local shuttle service. We went to Umbrella's Beach Bar one night- food was awful. Another day we took cab to St. George's for the Spice Market. It was not as large as we thought- 90 minutes was more than enough time. We stayed in the Garden suite which had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, right by the main lobby. Decor was very cute. Blow dryer missing the nozzle which made it unusable for me. AC worked super well and there was a unit with a remote in each area so you can adjust according to individual preference. Free bottles of water in the fridge. But the star is the beach. Beautiful blue-green water, clean sand, lots of chairs and they will set you up with umbrellas and a table wherever you want. There is a large unfinished resort right next door on the beach which is a bit of an eyesore, not a dealbreaker though. If/when they start construction again I would worry about the noise so take that under consideration. Overall very nice; I would stay again."

True Blue Bay Resort

"It has been a pleasure to see how much this resort has grown over the past 12 years! I first stayed here with my husband for our honeymoon. We came back 3 years later. In 2023 we came back again for my 40th birthday and brought friends with us! I just got home from a 4th stay with my mom and sister for a girls vacation. I love True Blue Bay resort so much! The rooms are spacious and we were able to fit 3 adult humans in the Cocoa Pod rooms comfortably, especially with 2 bathrooms! The pools are beautiful and clean. The staff is just beyond amazing. Every single person is friendly, professional, funny, and incredibly helpful! The breakfast buffet is wonderful. Dodgy Dock has the best food (though I miss the "American" pizza on the menu! 😂). The drinks are cold and delicious. The amount of free activities included in the price of the hotel is amazing. And, speaking of prices, the room rates really cannot be beat. I cannot wait for my next Grenada vacation, and look forward to another delightful stay at True Blue Bay resort!"
