"The hotel is not well maintained. The room was dirty and had dead spiders and flies in the bathroom windows. Several bathroom tiles were missing, and multiple things in the room were broken. The water, which they said comes from a pond, was yellow/brown and smelled like sewage. Definitely not worth the $280 per night. The restaurant was only open for one hour, and the check-in lady was also the bartender. I ended up not staying there and went to Hotel El Mirador by Balderrama instead. They had great service, and their water did not smell like sewage."

"This place is amazing. The rooms are like cabins, very clean and comfortable. The property is beautiful on the outsides ( very eco friendly) and the reception/restaurant area as well."

"El lugar es muy bonito con el mirador increible, es una de las 3 mejores opciones para estar en divisadero. Fui en temporada baja, algunas cosas no estaban funcionales , pero en general fue una buena experiencia, el desayuno es miy basico pero no necesitas mas. Si lo que quieres es llenarte de las vistas a las barrancas del cobre. Este lugar cumple muy bien. El staff es atento. "

"The guy at the reception desk told me that the credit card machine wasn't working and that I had to go to the bank to do a transfer. I had been driving for several hours that day and to hear that, it wasn't nice at all. He insisted that I pay cash but I didn't have it. Then like 30 minutes later the machine worked. I never saw him again during the whole stay even when trying to check out. "

"The owner met us when we walk into the parking lot . He run a little restaurant across the street. He gave us an over on how to use the TV and heater (it was only 5 degrees Celsius in Creel. Told us morning coffee is free for us at his restaurant. The room had 2 double beds , a TV , clean shower and bathroom. If you just want a clean place to sleep , this is the place. It is in the middle of town. It was only $68 Canadian a night."

"I had an inside room with no window. It was dark and the only way to get natural light was to open the curtain facing a sitting area--very exposed. The room temperature could not be regulated. There was no thermostat. It was uncomfortably warm and stuffy. No bottled water was provided as is customary in Mexico. "
