The staff was so very nice to everyone there and to me this is the place to go to the beach and you have a secure place to stay and that’s very important at this time. The staff was made up of young adults. It was so refreshing to see them work love the place."

"This is a hidden gem. A magic medieval village on a hill with a stunning view. The b&b is in a castle-like building beautifully renovated for a luxurus stay. Romantic, cozy and breathtaking surroundings. Host is super caring, welcoming and flexible. She also has a restaurant next door with fantastic local genuin food. This has been one of my best stays ever. I recommend it to everyone!"

"Beautiful spot to just sit back and relax after spending a week in very busy Rome. San Lucido is definitely a “hidden gem” in Calabria. We had both dinner and breakfast in the “sun room”. The food was excellent and the service top notch. The owner goes out of his way to make sure you have everything you need. Loved everything about our stay."

"The language barrier was definitely an issue. We were greeted in the street by the off-site host who was upset that we were planning to check out early even though we said we were paying for the extra night and despite the fact that we had emailed June 22nd that we had to shorten our stay. This is not a typical B & B. It consists of 4 rooms and a shared kitchenette on the same floor as 2 private apartments in a multi-story building above the pedestrian area. No blow dryer or iron is provided....
