"I was first assigned a room with visible mold, water damage, poor maintenance, and obvious cleanliness issues. After I complained, the hotel moved me to another room the next day, but unfortunately it was also in poor condition. The attached photos were taken in both rooms and in the reception area, and accurately reflect my experience. The problems did not end there. "The staff at the hotel are wonderful and responsive to requests for things like irons (when all your linen clothes are wrinkled from travel). There is a good selection for breakfast. The rooms are fine, but could really use a refresh, particularly the bathrooms. The hotel is a little out of the way, but close to IULM where I was attending a conference. It's about a 15 minute walk to the M2 subway line, which gets you wherever you need to go, and there is a LIDL a block away."
